Terms of Use
Last updated: September 8, 2026
These terms describe how you may use the Spelloom website, mobile apps and related language-learning services. Please read them before using the service or purchasing a subscription. Contact us if you have questions.
Learning with Spelloom
Spelloom provides vocabulary practice, exercises and learning progress tools. Features and availability may differ by platform, course and plan. Learning results depend on your practice; we do not promise a particular level, exam result or time to fluency. A launch notification or waitlist signup is not a purchase and does not guarantee a release date.
Accounts and guest access
Keep your sign-in credentials secure and use accurate account information. Guest access lets you try available features without creating a registered account. Guest progress may be lost if you clear browser data, remove the app or lose access to the guest session. Contact support if you need help with access, progress or restoring a purchase.
Premium and subscriptions
Where Premium is available, the purchase screen shows the features, price, billing period and any trial or promotional conditions before you confirm. App Store purchases are processed through your Apple Account and are subject to Apple's payment terms.
Auto-renewable subscriptions renew unless cancelled. You can manage or cancel an Apple subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Follow the deadline shown by Apple, including any trial cancellation deadline. Deleting the app or your Spelloom account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancelling renewal normally leaves access until the end of the paid period; trials may have different conditions shown by Apple.
See Apple's instructions for cancelling a subscription and requesting a refund. Refund requests for Apple purchases are handled by Apple, subject to applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory consumer rights.
Apple app licence
The iOS app is licensed under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). These service terms do not replace that licence or Apple's applicable store terms.
Your content and acceptable use
You retain ownership of content you add. Only upload words, examples, images or audio that you have the right to use. You allow Spelloom to store, process and display that content as needed to provide the features you choose, including sharing with other users when you choose a shared feature.
Do not upload unlawful or infringing content, harass others, compromise accounts, disrupt the service, bypass access or usage limits, or use automated requests to extract the vocabulary database. We may restrict access or remove content where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks or legal obligations. Contact support if you believe a restriction was mistaken.
Privacy and account deletion
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and deletion requests. You can request account deletion through the app's available account controls or contact support. Remember to manage any store subscription separately.
Service and terms updates
We may update features and these terms as the service evolves or legal requirements change. We will publish the updated date here and provide notice of material changes where required. Your rights under applicable law and the terms of an existing purchase remain protected.
